The Blogger template editor really is too small. I wrote a Blogger large template editor user script for Greasemonkey. It hides the navbar setting and doubles the editor's height.
Update 2005-07-19: You might also be interested in the Blogger large post editor.

Thanks a lot! previously, I used to use notepad for editing and then copy-pasted the code. but now i wont have to do that...but is it possible to search this text using find?
does this work with beta? i've installed the script - but there's an asterisk by it in the greasemonkey add-on options. and it's not changing my template size...
actually looks like maybe it's a greasemonkey problem. im running 0.6.6. guess it worked in 6.4, but perhaps needs to be updated? please? :)
